Progressive rock pioneers King Crimson have announced their highly anticipated 2025 tour, thrilling fans around the globe. The tour, titled A World Less Ordinary, marks a celebration of the band’s extensive legacy, spanning over five decades of innovative music.

 

King Crimson, known for their genre-defying sound and complex compositions, will kick off the tour in late spring, starting in Europe before making their way to North America, Asia, and South America. The tour is set to feature iconic tracks from albums such as In the Court of the Crimson King, Larks’ Tongues in Aspic, and Red, alongside reimagined versions of fan favorites.

 

Guitarist and founding member Robert Fripp, who has been the creative force behind King Crimson since their formation in 1968, expressed his excitement in a recent statement: “This tour is not just a performance; it’s a celebration of the music that has connected us to our audience over the years. We’re bringing something special to the stage for our loyal fans.”

 

The lineup for the tour will include several long-time members, such as Jakko Jakszyk on vocals and guitar, Mel Collins on saxophone, Tony Levin on bass, and Pat Mastelotto on drums, alongside a few surprise guest appearances.
