Jeremy Clarkson has ‘accidentally’ opened his £1 million pub, with the venue now set to be run by none other than one of Prince Harry’s good friends.
Clarkson revealed on Monday (15 July) that he had quietly opened his latest business venture a little early, coinciding with the EURO 2024 final between England and Spain.
Showing off the inside of the pub for the first time in a video on the official Instagram feed for his Hawkstone Lager, Clarkson tells the camera: “Well, we’ve accidentally opened our pub before it is kind of finished.”
The pub is an historic venue called The Windmill in Asthall, which is just outside the Cotswolds town of Burford.
Sitting around 20 minutes away from Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm, we’d be shocked if the venue didn’t feature in the fourth season of Clarkson’s Farm given that filming for it is currently under way.
Reportedly paying just under £1 million for the venue, Clarkson has already had a few alarming discoveries – including a pair of pants on what was a former dogging site.
The Hawkstone account revealed that The Windmill is officially set to open in ‘four or five weeks’ time.
