Exodus Thrashes Forward: New Music and Tour Plans Announced for 2025
Thrash metal legends Exodus have kicked off 2025 with exciting news for their devoted fan base. Known for their blistering riffs and relentless energy, the Bay Area thrash pioneers have announced plans for a new studio album, set to release later this year. This marks their first new material since 2021’s Persona Non Grata, which received critical acclaim for its raw aggression and powerful message.
Guitarist Gary Holt teased fans on social media, hinting that the upcoming album would “push boundaries while staying true to the roots of thrash metal.” Longtime fans can expect a mix of technical prowess and neck-snapping rhythms that have defined the band’s four-decade career.
To accompany the album’s release, Exodus also unveiled dates for a worldwide tour, starting in North America before hitting Europe, Asia, and South America. The tour, aptly named “Thrash Through Time,” will celebrate the band’s storied legacy while showcasing their latest material.
