Leeds United have officially completed the signing of Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon on a season-long loan, bolstering their attacking options for the 2024/25 campaign. The 25-year-old Israeli international arrives at Elland Road in search of regular game time after struggling to cement a starting spot at Spurs.
Solomon, who joined Tottenham from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2023, has faced a challenging spell in North London. Injuries and intense competition for places limited his appearances, prompting the club to sanction a temporary move to Leeds, where he is expected to play a crucial role in Daniel Farke’s attacking setup.
Leeds United, who narrowly missed out on Premier League promotion last season, have been actively reinforcing their squad to mount another strong push for the top flight. Solomon’s arrival adds flair and creativity to their frontline, with his dribbling ability and eye for goal making him a key asset.
Speaking about the move, Leeds manager Daniel Farke expressed his excitement: “Manor is a fantastic talent with a lot of experience at the highest level. We believe he can make a real impact in our attacking play, and we’re thrilled to have him here for the season.”
Solomon also shared his enthusiasm about the transfer: “Leeds is a massive club with incredible fans. I’m eager to help the team achieve its goals and get back to the Premier League where they belong.”
The winger is expected to be available for Leeds’ upcoming fixtures, providing Farke with an additional attacking option as the team looks to make a strong start to the new season. With his pace, technical skills, and goal-scoring ability, Solomon could be the spark that Leeds needs to achieve their promotion ambitions.
