Accept Celebrates Decades of Metal Mastery with New Album and World Tour
- German heavy metal pioneers Accept are celebrating over four decades of influence and sonic domination with the release of their highly anticipated new album, “Thunder from the East”. Set to drop in early 2024, the album marks a continuation of their iconic blend of speed, thrash, and classic heavy metal, a sound that has kept their loyal fanbase rocking since their formation in 1976.
Known for defining the heavy metal genre with classics like “Balls to the Wall” and “Metal Heart”, Accept’s latest album showcases their unwavering ability to evolve while staying true to their roots. Lead guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, who has been with the band since its inception, stated in a recent interview, “We are more driven than ever to push boundaries, to evolve, and to give our fans the power and intensity they expect from us.”
Following the release of “Thunder from the East”, Accept will embark on a massive world tour, kicking off in Europe before heading to North America and beyond. This marks the first time in several years that the band has done a full global tour, and their fans are eager to witness the live performances that have cemented Accept’s reputation as one of the best in the business. The band’s energetic and precise live shows have earned them a legendary status in the metal community, with their performances of iconic tracks like “Fast as a Shark” and “Princess of the Dawn” being a highlight at every stop.
With Mark Tornillo taking over as lead vocalist after Udo Dirkschneider’s departure in 2009, Accept continues to bring their signature sound to new generations of metalheads. As they prepare to enter the next chapter, it’s clear that Accept’s place in heavy metal history is firmly cemented, and they show no signs of slowing down.
