Lenovo and Instituto Ayrton Senna celebrate 30 years of the driver´s legacy with a special tribute
Lenovo presented a special tribute to legendary Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Senna, celebrating the 30-year milestone of his legacy in 2024. Since 2019, Lenovo has partnered with Instituto Ayrton Senna to support access to quality education in Brazil.

São Paulo, October 30, 2024 – Lenovo, a global technology powerhouse, presents a special tribute to legendary Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Senna, celebrating the 30-year milestone of his legacy in 2024.
Ayrton Senna is regarded as a national hero in Brazil, not only for his professional performance in Formula 1®, but for his dream of making Brazil a country where everyone knows victory and has more opportunities, especially through education. As he always stated, “children are the future; if we want to change something, we have to start with the children, through their education”. Led by his sister, Viviane Senna, the family founded Instituto Ayrton Senna in his memory to continue his vision and transform the country through education.
Since 2019, Lenovo has partnered with Instituto Ayrton Senna to support access to quality education in Brazil. Lenovo allocates part of the proceeds from the sale of devices from the Ideapad, Legion, Yoga and Lenovo 100e and 300e lines to educational initiatives in more than 3,000 Brazilian municipalities. Through this partnership, Lenovo has already invested more than US$3.2 million to boost access to quality education, which reaches children and young people and trains educators throughout the country.
“When, five years ago, we first approached the Instituto Ayrton Senna, I was deeply inspired by its mission, which perfectly aligns with Lenovo philanthropy’s mission to empower people with access to education. I’m proud of the strides we’ve made together since then, creating a meaningful impact on education in Brazil. In 2023 alone, their efforts impacted more than 700,000 children and youth through the training of 9,300 educators,” commented Luca Rossi, President of Intelligent Device Group, Lenovo. “With this tribute, we celebrate our partnership with the Instituto Ayrton Senna and honor the memory of Ayrton Senna, a man who was not only a legendary driver but also a remarkable human being and a source of inspiration for us all.”

Crafted with the precision and elegance that symbolize his career, the tribute is a unique, handcrafted piece created in collaboration with renowned designers Stefano Zuech and Federico Fondacci, inspired by the classic reference to the letter “S for Senna.”
