Brian McFadden to Feature in New Louis Theroux Netflix Documentary Exploring Life After Fame.

Netflix has announced an upcoming documentary featuring former Westlife star Brian McFadden as part of a new series led by acclaimed British filmmaker and journalist Louis Theroux. The documentary, which is set to explore the highs and lows of celebrity life, will dive deep into McFadden’s journey from boyband superstardom to his life today.

Theroux, known for his in-depth and thought-provoking interviews, will spend time with McFadden to uncover the realities of his career after leaving Westlife in 2004. The documentary will explore his experiences in the music industry, his ventures into television, and how he has navigated both professional and personal challenges.

McFadden, now 44, was one of the original members of Westlife, one of the best-selling boybands of all time. During his tenure, the group achieved multiple number-one hits, including *Flying Without Wings* and *Uptown Girl*. However, his decision to leave the band at the peak of their fame shocked fans worldwide. Since then, McFadden has pursued a solo music career, appeared on reality TV, and recently reunited with former Boyzone member Keith Duffy to form Boyzlife.

Speaking about the documentary, McFadden said: “I’ve always admired Louis’ work. He has a way of asking questions that make you reflect on your life in ways you never expected. I’m looking forward to sharing my journey and giving fans an honest look at what life is really like after being in one of the world’s biggest boybands.”

The documentary is expected to feature candid discussions on the pressures of fame, the challenges of reinventing oneself, and the impact of public scrutiny. With Theroux’s signature approach of blending curiosity with empathy, fans can expect a raw and emotional insight into McFadden’s life.

The documentary is set to premiere on Netflix in early 2025.
