Legendary Queen guitarist **Brian May** was honored with the prestigious **Lifetime Achievement Award** at the **2025 BRIT Awards**, celebrating his decades-long impact on music, science, and humanitarian efforts. The event, held at London’s **O2 Arena** on February 25, featured an emotional tribute to May’s legacy, with fellow musicians, industry leaders, and fans paying homage to one of rock’s most iconic figures.

**A Career of Musical Brilliance**

May, who co-founded Queen in 1970 alongside **Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon**, has been instrumental in shaping rock music history. With hits like *Bohemian Rhapsody*, *We Will Rock You*, *Somebody to Love*, and *Don’t Stop Me Now*, his unique guitar work has inspired generations of musicians. His **Red Special** guitar, custom-built with his father in the 1960s, remains one of the most recognizable instruments in rock.

Upon receiving the award, May delivered a heartfelt speech, thanking his late bandmate Freddie Mercury, as well as Roger Taylor and John Deacon. “**I never imagined that picking up a homemade guitar in my childhood bedroom would lead to a lifetime of unforgettable moments.
