Update on Celtic and Man Utd transfer emerges as Rangers told to sign two Premiership stars

After yet another brutal season, many Celtic and Rangers players will be taking time off, while others will be

traveling to Euro 2024 or another country for international duty. Although Celtic won both the league and the cup

this year, Brendan Rodgers will be looking for greater depth and quality in his team this summer in order to improve

their Champions League performance.

Rangers, on the other hand, will be looking for a substantial upgrade after losing their second attempt to win the

league. It will be intriguing to observe the results of Philippe Clement’s first full season in command. We have

compiled the most recent information about the Hoops and the Gers in the meantime.

Bayindir claims denied

Altay Bayindir, a Turkish goalkeeper, is rumored to not be joining Celtic from Manchester United. In an attempt to

replace Joe Hart this summer, the Hoops have all but clinched a deal to acquire Bayindir,

according to Turkish publication Aksam.

But The Sun say sources at both clubs have denied the reports, with Bayindir looking as though he will remain at Old

Trafford after all. The goalkeeper only arrived at United last summer, although he quickly became number two with

Andre Onana being signed for big money from Inter Miami. Bayindir started just one last season, and so it wouldn’t

be a huge surprise if he moved on, but it seems Celtic are not close to a deal after all.

Ferguson’s shortlist

Barry Ferguson has named two players Rangers should consider signing this summer. He told the Daily Record:

“Lennon Miller is the young man who has jumped out at me every time I have seen him play. The Motherwell kid has

unbelievable talent. I was at the game where he came off the bench at Ibrox for his league debut.

At the age of sixteen, he witnessed Motherwell’s defeat, and it was a momentous occasion for the inexperienced

athlete. However, he was pressing his teammates—some of whom were twice his age—for the ball. It was very

entertaining to watch. I could see there was a player there right then. One more is Connor Barron. I have enjoyed

what I have seen of him when I have watched him play for Aberdeen or the Scotland U21s. He would be available for

hire this summer for a charge. What a little gem.
